Ocean Breeze | Vitamin Sea

I finally had a little spare time today, so I did some scrapping for myself! Sometimes it's nice to dig through your stash and just create......And that's exactly what I did! I'm working on some beachy themed layouts, so I dived into my ' Vitamin Sea' stash. I really loved this collection from years ago and made sure at the time to have plenty of supply for later.

Look at those colours! I also tried the new 'Lattice Wave' die-cutting border from Creative Memories with my new little (and very cute!), die-cutting machine.

For the base sheets I used Lagoon Shimmer, then a 11.5" x 11.5" sheet of navy cardstock and a 11" x 11" sheet of Bright White for the top layer. (*Dont't forget to remove the centres of those base papers/cardstock to save your supply!)

I ran the Lattice Wave die through my machine 3 times on 3 different papers - (don't worry - I'll use the spare pieces on other things.) Once for the main base and then for the cut out pieces of the border from other colour themed papers. I love the effect it gave and made sure I cut it down to 11" long to fit across the background paper neatly. I did cut 0.5" off each end to keep an even pattern on my border.

The border at the top of the page is the easiest you can make. I cut 11 pieces of various papers at 1"x 3"and used my two-way corner rounder punch on both corners at one end of each piece. So simple!

All that was left for me to do was add my photos- one 3.5" x 5" and two 3"x 4". Whilst I don't have many embellishments left in the collection, I was still able to create some fun tropical leaf combo's.
